I just can’t let my keyboard go.
BlackBerry please don’t screw up the pricing, I promise I’ll buy it.

I really like the Priv. unfortunately it came out a weeek after I got my s6 edge.

Weird, you and my buddy. He has an old school Blackberry and loves it.

I’ve a Blackberry Classic Q20 and I’ve owned Blackberrys for years almost purely because of the keyboard.
I want a Priv next. I like the idea of the DTEK50(Neon) and DTEK60(Argon) but without a keyboard it looked like the end for me and smart phones.
If this Mercury does come about I’ll certainly be having it, if not the Priv it will have to be.

Whoa whoa whoa. Stop. Back up. That may just get me to change to Android. Nothing else is appealing at all.
That said, I still hope they continue putting out actual BB10 powered devices even though they aren’t making the hardware anymore...

If there’s an android device that would get me to switch, this would be it. But I do hope they release a few with BB10 still.

I think the last BB10 has been done. They are all Android now or going to be. I’m okay with Android as long as Blackberry are behind them doing their magic.

I’m an iPhone guy but I have a priv for work and yes. yes. YES. I would buy this in a heartbeat.

You didn’t get the Priv when they had the massive Black Friday Sale? 299 USD/397 CAD, forgot how much in GBP.

I saw a few places, one had dropped it from £399.00 to £299.00 and one has kept it at the sale price of £299.00.
My contract is up in March. I could upgrade early as I’m on O2 Refresh which means I can buy out the handset but keep the contract as it is.
It did look like a good plan to buy one as I had dropped my Classic recently (six weeks ago) and the camera stopped working so had a look round but O2 are all about Apple and don’t have any Blackberrys, then out of nowhere the camera started working again after two weeks so didn’t seem all that important to buy a £299 phone when I can wait out my contract and upgrade through the Carphonewarehouse who stock the Blackberry Priv.

Shut up and let me hope.
Actually, there is reason why it could happen... They are still developing the software, 10.3.3 is supposed to be released soon... and if they’re still putting effort into the software it doesn’t make sense that it would just be dumped by the wayside.

You must’ve missed the post. 10.3.3 is already out.

Well then.

Love it! Although, personally, I miss the days of slide-out landscape-oriented keyboards.
Still, anything is better than a touch-screen when it comes to typing.

The only landscape device I had was the Nokia N810, and frankly, it wasn’t that good.

I’ve always wanted and still want a Blackberry, sadly the Priv is way too expensive and the DTEK is basically a reskinned Alcatel which is much cheaper. So there is no reason for me to get a Blackberry except for the brand.

Priv was $299 during the Black Friday sale. Was contemplating getting a second one as a backup.

I have had a phone with physical buttons, and while it was a crappy Tracphone, I vastly prefer using a touchscreen.

oh come on you know you want an iPhone.
